We haul in the racks, the tools, and the hats — straw, wool, and felt — and set up a working hat bar right at your venue. Guests pick a hat, we shape and size it to fit, and they can add a brand or two while everyone watches.

Two dedicated hat enthusiasts — Justin and Jen — will pull up with a trailer full of fun! It'll look like we're moving in! It takes us up to 2 hours to set up, and an hour and a half to tear down to make sure we bring the best possible experience! If you've got the space, we'll bring the energy!
Shaping and branding happen right there. Guests take an active role in designing their one-of-a-kind, custom hat! They help guide our hands to create the perfect hat for them! Ask your friends for help or we can give suggestions, but half the fun for everyone is watching it all come together.

Setup (up to 2 hours) and teardown (about 90 minutes) happen before and after your 4 hours of live shaping — they're not counted against your event time. A $150 deposit holds your date and is fully refundable if you cancel 30+ days before the event.

Yes — pre-ordered felt hats (7X and up) earn a $25 credit per hat toward your event cost, up to 6 hats / $150 max.
The first 60 miles are included in the base package. Beyond that it's a tiered add-on — $75, $150, or $225 depending on distance. Anything past 200 miles or requiring an overnight stay gets a custom quote.

We'll bring an assortment of 3X Wool felt, straw, and palm hats, plus any pre-order hats, ribbons, hatbands made of horse hair, leather, and beads. We'll have playing cards, feathers and Texas toothpicks to decorate with, and over 100 branding irons to choose from for that final customization.
We have a lot of stuff, so a minimum of a 10' x 10' space is required, though 10' x 20' provides a better experience for everyone. We also require a strong, reliable electrical outlet to run our steamer. Last, we'll need a clear path to transport everything to where you want us, and a good big space to park the truck and trailer.
